1:30pm - 2:30pm  CEU:1.5

Session Description: Dennis Bauer will entertain you with a true story of flying a six-passenger, singe-engine airplane and having the engine quit 5,000’ off the ground. He will also unpack three critical keys from that experience that will prepare you to handle “The Unexpected” whenever it happens in your life and in your business, so you won’t crash and burn… because in the end we want to do more than survive, we want to soar! Dennis speaks from experience… he has owned three businesses over the past 27 years, knows the grind and the grit it takes to make your business succeed, and is a proponent and cheer-leader of small-business success. He is the author of the Amazon international bestseller book, “Fumes and a Prayer: How to Live at the Edge and Still Be Home for Dinner.”

Dennis Bauer is the author of the Amazon bestseller book, Fumes and a Prayer: How to Live at the Edge and Still Be Home for Dinner. He receives standing ovations as an inspirational, motivational, and entertaining keynote speaker.

Dennis is a native of Puget Sound, which means he actually knows how to enjoy a rainy day. He is the father of three grown children. He has been in eight foreign countries and in all but 6 states (has yet to visit Hawaii!). A graduate of Colorado Christian University, Dennis worked as a flight test mechanic at Boeing and helped build the first 767. Over the last 25 years, he has owned three businesses.

When his airplane engine quit 5,000’ off the ground, Dennis recalled three words his flight instructor taught him. Now he unpacks and applies the same three critical keys to life, to relationships, and to business so you too will be prepared for “The Unexpected.” You will handle it well when it comes… and not crash and burn. Because after all, you want to do more than survive… you want to SOAR! for info about Dennis, his book, and his speaking..
