    Get to Know the Speakers

Kara Keister, MAS, CEO, Social Good Promotions

Kara is a passionate go-getter who has learned to ask questions and never take no for an answer. Kara started her promotional professional career on the distributor side 13 years ago in sales. Her sales role allowed her to use her marketing background and love of all things brand to become a top-level sales-person within the company and eventually move to her new role at Social Good Promotions as CEO.

Kara began her tenure with the OPPA board in 2015 where she learned the ropes from longtime regional volunteers. She served as President of the OPPA Board from 2017-2019. Her goal in 2017 was to right the financial course of the organization and 2018 to redevelop the board with new talent to move the organization into the future in her third and final year as President, Kara worked with new board members and the executive committee to encourage and allow them to move quickly into leadership roles for the organization. As Immediate Past President, she helped implement safety protocols to allow for in-person events during COVID and assisted in creating “Born In Ohio”, a celebration of the birthplace of promotional products in Coshocton, Ohio.

Kara participated in LDW from 2017-2023 and was a delegate to L.E.A.D. in 2018, 2019, and 2023. Kara was elected to the RAC Board in 2020 and played a pivotal role in the shift from RAC to the newly developed Regional Relations Committee. In 2022, Kara was appointed to the PPAI Board of Directors as the RRC Delegate.

Kara is a self-proclaimed nerd willing to accept any challenge that comes her way. In addition to her role at soGOOD, she is a new mom and an instructor/choreographer at Becky’s School of Dance. In her very little free time, she enjoys dancing, working out, playing with all the dogs, and binge-watching reality television. Kara and her husband moved their little family back to their hometown of Carey, Ohio just before Boone joined the crew.

"Accessible AI: Starting Small for Big Impact"

Join distributor and PPAI Board Member, Kara Keister for a discussion on how AI tools can be leveraged for the small to midrange member company. Chat about available technology, applicable uses, and see real time examples of how AI superpowers can be used for growth and efficiency.

    Vicki Ostrom, Trend Analyst, SanMar

Vicki is a futurist, trend editor for SanMar and founder of Trendependent, a collective of curious people looking at how society works. Trend moves brands forward when applied to real life situations. Over the past 20 years, Vicki has learned to OBSERVE and INTERPRET trends and identify how they are ACTIVATED in products.

    "Connecting the Dots"

THE JOY OF MOVEMENT, THE STRENGTH OF HEROES and THE POWER OF THE FUTURE are trends that can inform and guide us through 2024. Let’s connect the dots between ideas and products by putting a spotlight on two very important words informing these trends, CONNECTION and COMMUNITY. The activities we’re choosing to engage in, the products we want around us and the customer collections we’re gathering flow from the energy of these words and ideas. So, let’s jump in and start connecting the dots. Watch a 1-minute introduction video on Connecting the Dots

Spencer Galindo, National Sales Manager, HPG

Dale Denham, MAS+, President and CEO, PPAI

In 2021, Dale Denham stepped into the role of President and CEO at Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), leading the charge in revitalizing the industry's premier trade association from the setbacks inflicted by COVID-19. His tenure has seen PPAI undergo a noteworthy resurgence, characterized by a wave of new industry initiatives and a strong emphasis on digital transformation and corporate responsibility.

Prior to his tenure at PPAI, Denham held significant leadership positions, including Senior Vice President roles at a top promotional distributor and separately a prominent media and technology firm, accumulating over 30 years of executive experience. He has also been actively involved in various boards, including a noteworthy stint on the PPAI Board of Directors from 2015 to 2020, where he served as Board Chair in 2018.

Denham is a proud alumnus of the University of South Florida, where he earned his bachelor's degree in business with a minor in economics. Alongside his wife and four children, he calls Tampa Florida home.

Tom Goos, MAS, President, Image Source

Tom is the President of Image Source, a nationally recognized branded merchandise agency known for its purpose driven culture and strategic client approach. Day to day, he leads Image Source’s strategic direction, as well as financial management, operations, and supplier partnerships. With 22+ years of branded merchandise experience, Goos is a true industry leader and expert.

He is a former two-term President of NWPMA and a founder and partner of Reciprocity Road, the innovative industry buying, and shared learning group comprised of eight elite branded merchandise agencies. He was recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal’s award program, 40 Under Forty.

    Jeremy Lott, President, SanMar

A picture on SanMar's very first catalog cover with a two-year-old peddling a big wheel proves it — Jeremy has worked at SanMar for nearly his entire life.

Today, as President of the family-owned business, Jeremy works in partnership with his father, Marty and his brother, Jordan. Over the years Jeremy learned the business from the inside out, from pulling orders to purchasing. After college and a stint studying in Hong Kong, he launched his career as an analyst for investment bank Piper Jaffray's technology team. Jeremy moved to Chicago in 2001 to earn his MBA, and then joined SanMar full-time. Adding strategy to vision, he continues to steward the company toward long-term growth and health. Proud of the opportunities given to so many tenured staff members to thrive, he often spends time "table-hopping" at the company's on-site café. He learns a lot during those casual conversations because, he says, employees have the pulse on what's really going on in their arenas.

The father of six children, Jeremy discovered that a work/life balance holds the key to maximum productivity. He enjoys spending time outdoors — skiing, hiking, boating and generally staying active.
